Klondike Classic is a free online card game developed by Games-online.io. This game is a popular solitaire card game that is played with a standard deck of 52 cards. The game is played by one player and the objective is to move all the cards from the tableau to the foundation piles in ascending order by suit. The game can be played on any web browser and is completely free.
In this Klondike Classic game, you will have to arrange the cards in order from A to K in four foundation piles in the upper right corner of the screen. You can also move the cards between the seven tableau piles in the middle of the screen to create descending sequences of alternating black and red cards. If you can’t move any other cards, you can draw a new card from the stock pile in the upper left corner of the screen.
The Klondike Classic game ends when you have arranged all the cards in the foundation piles or can’t move any other cards.
How to play Klondike Classic Online for Free
- Shuffle a standard deck of 52 playing cards. Deal seven tableau piles, with the first pile containing one card, the second pile containing two cards, and so on, with the last pile containing seven cards. Place the remaining cards face-down to form the stock pile. Turn the top card of the stock pile face-up and place it next to the stock pile to start the waste pile.
- The objective of Klondike Classic is to move all the cards to the foundation piles in ascending order by suit (from Ace to King).
- You can move cards between tableau piles and build down in alternating colors. For example, a red six can be placed on a black seven. You can also move a sequence of cards in descending order from one tableau pile to another if they are of alternating colors.
- You can move the top card of the waste pile to the tableau or foundation piles. However, you can only play the top card of the waste pile.
- Start with an Ace and build up in ascending order by suit (hearts, diamonds, clubs, spades). Place cards from the tableau or waste pile onto the foundation piles when they match the suit and are in ascending order.
- When a tableau pile's top card is removed, the next face-down card is revealed and can be played.
- If you can no longer make moves from the tableau or waste pile, you can turn over cards from the stock pile one at a time and place them on the waste pile. Once all cards from the stock pile have been turned over, you can flip it over and start again.
- Continue moving cards to the foundation piles until all cards are placed in ascending order by suit (from Ace to King) in each foundation pile. If you successfully complete this, you win the game.
